Payment Policy

Last Updated: May 24, 2026

Applicable Jurisdictions: This Payment Policy applies to users worldwide, including but not limited to users in North America (United States, Canada, Mexico), Central America, South America, Europe (including the European Union and European Economic Area), United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

1. Introduction and Scope

This Payment Policy (“Policy”) governs all financial transactions, payments, subscriptions, and fees related to your use of the CORUSCATE APP (the “App”). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the CORUSCATE APP Terms of Use. By making any payment or purchasing any service through the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Payment Policy.

2. Fees and Pricing

2.1 Service Tiers

CORUSCATE APP may offer various service tiers, including free and paid subscription plans (“Paid Services”). The specific features, functionality, storage limits, and capabilities available to you depend on your selected subscription tier.

2.2 Currency and Pricing

All fees are quoted and charged in the currency specified at the point of purchase. Pricing may vary by geographic region and may be displayed inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, and government-imposed charges as required by law in your jurisdiction.

2.3 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing structure, fees, and subscription rates at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will take effect upon the next renewal or for new purchases after the change. We will provide advance notice of material pricing changes where required by law.

3. Payment Methods and Authorization

3.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods, which may include credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers, and third-party payment platforms (collectively, “Payment Methods”). The availability of specific Payment Methods may vary by jurisdiction.

3.2 Third-Party Payment Processors

Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers. By providing your payment information, you authorize these payment processors to store your payment details and to charge your designated Payment Method for all applicable fees.

3.3 Payment Authorization and Verification

By providing a Payment Method, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are legally authorized to use the designated Payment Method
  • All payment information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
  • You will maintain valid payment information and sufficient funds or credit to fulfill your payment obligations
  • You authorize us and our payment processors to charge all fees incurred under your account

3.4 Payment Security

While we employ industry-standard security measures and work with reputable payment processors, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your payment information and account credentials.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Subscription Periods

Paid Services may be offered on various subscription periods, including monthly, quarterly, annual, or other term-based billing cycles. Your specific subscription period is identified at the time of purchase.

4.2 Automatic Renewal

Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew for successive periods of the same duration. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee (which may differ from the rate you originally paid) using your designated Payment Method.

BY AGREEING TO A SUBSCRIPTION, YOU AUTHORIZE US TO CHARGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD AUTOMATICALLY AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH BILLING PERIOD UNTIL YOU CANCEL.

4.3 Billing Date

Your billing date is determined by the date of your initial subscription purchase. Renewal charges will occur on or near the same day of each subsequent billing period. If a billing date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g., February 30), billing will occur on the last day of that month.

4.4 Failed Payments

If we are unable to successfully charge your Payment Method for any reason (insufficient funds, expired card, payment processor rejection, etc.), we may:

  • Retry the charge at a later time
  • Suspend or downgrade your account to a free tier
  • Terminate your access to Paid Services
  • Charge you late fees or administrative fees where permitted by law

You remain responsible for any uncollected amounts, and we reserve the right to pursue collection through legal means.

5. Subscription Cancellation

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings within the App or by contacting our customer support team. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the subsequent billing period.

5.2 Effect of Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to Paid Services until the end of the period for which you have already paid
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your current subscription period (see Section 6)
  • Your account may be downgraded to a free tier (if available) or your access may be restricted to comply with free tier limitations

5.3 No Obligation to Notify

We are not obligated to remind you of upcoming renewal dates or charges. It is your responsibility to manage your subscriptions and cancel before renewal if you no longer wish to continue.

6. NO REFUND POLICY

6.1 GENERAL NO-REFUND RULE

ALL FEES, PAYMENTS, AND CHARGES FOR THE CORUSCATE APP AND PAID SERVICES ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE. ONCE A PAYMENT HAS BEEN PROCESSED, IT IS FINAL AND CANNOT BE REFUNDED, REVERSED, OR CREDITED, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY REQUIRED BY MANDATORY CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS (SEE SECTION 6.6).

6.2 No Refunds for Unused Services or Partial Periods

You will not receive a refund or credit for:

  • Unused portions of subscription periods (e.g., canceling mid-month in a monthly subscription)
  • Prepaid subscription terms that you choose not to use or utilize fully
  • Subscription downgrades or changes to lower-priced plans during an active billing period
  • Features, storage, or functionality that you do not use or access

6.3 No Refunds for Dissatisfaction or Change of Mind

Refunds are not provided due to:

  • Dissatisfaction with the quality, performance, or features of the App
  • Change of mind or decision not to continue using the Service
  • Unmet expectations regarding functionality, results, or outcomes
  • Preference for competing services or products

We strongly encourage you to evaluate the App through any available free trial or free tier offerings before purchasing Paid Services.

6.4 No Refunds for Technical Issues, Service Interruptions, or Downtime

You will not receive a refund or credit due to:

  • Temporary service interruptions, outages, or downtime
  • Technical difficulties, bugs, errors, or performance issues
  • Incompatibility with your device, operating system, or internet connection
  • Loss or corruption of User Content or data
  • Service degradation due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure events)

6.5 No Refunds for Account Termination or Violation of Terms

If your account is suspended, disabled, or terminated due to violation of the Terms of Use, prohibited conduct, fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or any other breach, you will forfeit all fees paid and will not be entitled to any refund, credit, or compensation for the remaining subscription period or any unused services.

6.6 Refunds Required by Mandatory Consumer Protection Laws

Notwithstanding the general No-Refund Policy above, certain jurisdictions provide consumers with statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with such mandatory rights, you may be entitled to a refund in specific circumstances as required by law.

European Union and United Kingdom:

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a 14-day withdrawal right under the Consumer Rights Directive (EU) and Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK). However, if you request immediate access to the Service and begin using Paid Services within the 14-day period, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you forfeit your withdrawal right as permitted by law.

Australia:

If you are a consumer in Australia, you have consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010). If the App or Paid Services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund, depending on the nature and severity of the failure.

New Zealand:

If you are a consumer in New Zealand, you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986. You may be entitled to a refund or remedy if the App or Paid Services are not of acceptable quality, do not match their description, or fail to meet other statutory guarantees.

Canada:

If you are a consumer in Canada, you may have rights under federal and provincial consumer protection legislation. Specific refund rights vary by province and territory.

United States:

Consumer protection laws vary by state. Certain states may provide additional rights regarding refunds, cancellations, or automatic renewal disclosures. We comply with applicable state laws, including automatic renewal laws such as California's Automatic Renewal Law (ARL).

Brazil and Latin America:

Consumers in Brazil have rights under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor - CDC), including a 7-day right of withdrawal for certain digital services. Similar consumer protection laws exist in other Latin American jurisdictions.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, please contact our customer support team with details of your claim and the legal basis for your refund request. We will evaluate your request in accordance with applicable law.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

7.1 Prohibited Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with your bank or payment processor without first attempting to resolve the matter with us directly is a violation of this Payment Policy and may constitute fraud.

7.2 Consequences of Chargebacks

If you initiate an unauthorized or unjustified chargeback:

  • Your account and access to the App will be immediately suspended or terminated
  • You will forfeit all fees paid and lose access to all Paid Services and User Content
  • We reserve the right to pursue collection of the disputed amount and any associated costs
  • We may charge you for chargeback fees, administrative costs, and legal expenses incurred
  • We may report fraudulent chargebacks to credit bureaus, payment processors, and law enforcement
  • We may refuse to do business with you in the future

7.3 Proper Dispute Process

If you have a billing concern, technical issue, or believe you have been charged in error, you must contact our customer support team BEFORE initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving legitimate disputes fairly and promptly.

8. Taxes and Government Charges

All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, levies, tariffs, and government-imposed charges (collectively, “Taxes”), unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase. You are responsible for paying all applicable Taxes associated with your use of the App.

In jurisdictions where we are required to collect or remit Taxes (such as VAT in the EU/UK, GST in Australia/New Zealand, sales tax in certain U.S. states), the applicable Taxes will be added to your total charges and itemized separately on your receipt or invoice.

If you are exempt from certain Taxes (e.g., due to business registration or tax-exempt status), you must provide valid documentation of your exemption before or at the time of purchase. Refunds of Taxes collected will only be provided if required by law and upon receipt of satisfactory proof of exemption.

9. Free Trials, Promotions, and Discounts

9.1 Free Trial Eligibility

We may offer free trials of Paid Services from time to time. Free trials are subject to eligibility requirements and limitations as specified at the time of offer. Free trials are typically limited to new users and one per user or household.

9.2 Free Trial Conversion

At the end of a free trial period, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Payment Method will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period to avoid charges.

9.3 Promotional Pricing

Promotional discounts, special offers, and introductory pricing are temporary and apply only to the specified period. After the promotional period ends, you will be charged the regular subscription rate. Promotional pricing is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

9.4 Abuse of Promotions

We reserve the right to revoke free trials, promotional pricing, or discounts, and to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse or exploit promotional offers (e.g., creating multiple accounts, using fraudulent payment information).

10. In-App Purchases and Credits

The App may offer in-app purchases, virtual credits, tokens, or other digital goods (“Virtual Items”). All purchases of Virtual Items are final and non-refundable. Virtual Items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or sold.

Virtual Items may have expiration dates or usage limitations as specified at the time of purchase. Unused Virtual Items will be forfeited upon expiration or account termination.

11. Currency Conversion and Foreign Transaction Fees

If your Payment Method is denominated in a currency different from the billing currency, your bank or payment processor may apply currency conversion fees and foreign transaction fees. These fees are determined by your financial institution and are not controlled by us. Exchange rates may fluctuate, and the amount charged in your local currency may vary.

12. Questions and Customer Support

If you have questions about billing, payments, subscriptions, or this Payment Policy, please contact our customer support team.

13. Changes to This Payment Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Payment Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting of the updated Policy with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the App and Paid Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Payment Policy.

Important Notice

BY MAKING ANY PAYMENT OR PURCHASING ANY SERVICE THROUGH THE CORUSCATE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS PAYMENT POLICY AND EXPRESSLY AGREE TO THE NO-REFUND POLICY OUTLINED HEREIN.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY MANDATORY CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS.
